Firewall Routing
There are two groups of wires which can be ganged and routed as one wire for rewiring purposes. The +12V supply wires to ECM Terminals B-1 and C-16 can be routed as one wire from Fuse #1. The wires from terminals A-12, D-1, D-3, D-6 and D-10, can be routed as one wire to a secure engine ground, (we strongly recommend attaching this common ground wire directly to the engine block, or cylinder head, to eliminate any possibility of a voltage drop in the ground connection.). The wires which must be run through the firewall are listed below by ECM terminal location, colour code, circuit number, and application with any additional information that may be necessary. As previously mentioned, there may be some variation in the colour codes involved in some of the circuits, depending on model and year.
