The second book in the series is the Auto Electronics and Auto Electrical Reference Manual (ISBN 0949398734), and covers the mind boggling auto electronic systems in use today. It starts off with the basics in auto electrical and electronic systems and equipment and gives the reader a good basis from which to start.   The book covers custom wiring, electronic ignitions, electrical systems, conversions from old to new ignition systems (eg points system to a hall effect distributor), multiplexed wiring systems (single wire systems) and a heap more. There are sections on troubleshooting, test equipment, circuit defects and more. Most trouble codes are listed with possible alternative causes and the list goes on.
